Shishapangma 希夏邦马 (a)

Mount Shishapangma is 8,027 meters above sea level, ranking 14th among the 14 8,000-meter peaks in the world. It is also the only 8,000-meter peak entirely in China. It is located in the middle of the Himalayas. In 1964, The Chinese mountaineering team successfully reached the summit for the first time.

In recent years, the hiking route around Shishapangma has become very popular. Generally, you enter from the southern valley, hike along its east side, and then turn back at the northern end to reach the northern glacier. The glacier at this location is very spectacular.

希夏邦马峰海拔8027米,在世界14座8000米级高峰中排名第14位. 也是唯一一座完全在中国境内的8000米级高峰. 它坐落在喜马拉雅山脉中段,1964年由中国登山队首次登顶成功.
